Remaining two puppies got their twelve-week health check today along with their third in a series of four primary vaccinations. Puppies weighed 38 pounds for the female and 49 pounds for the male.
Remaining six puppies got their nine-week health check today along with their second in a series of four primary vaccinations. Puppies weighed between 23.5 lbs and 28.0 lbs, not bad weighs for 9 week old pups.
The puppies got their six-week health check today along with their first in a series of four primary vaccinations, plus each got a yummy de-worming tablet. All puppies weighed in right at 13 pounds each.
The antibiotics did a great job of clearing up the mastitis.
The temp got up to almost 70 today. So the puppies got to play in the grass. After 20 minutes they were all ready for a nap.
Removed the whelping box from the kennel today, left the heat lamp. Installed a 4’ X 4’ boxed area of wood chips. Potty training has begun. Plus the puppies got outside for the first time.
Over the last few days Skeeter has been slowly weaning the pups. Puppies are eating more soft chow now; they all have grown by almost 3 pounds in the last week.
The puppies get real excited, let out little puppy barks when they see the bowl of milk and breadcrumbs, plus they are now nibbling on soft dog chow.
Completed the 1st series of 3 days of de-worming. Noticed baby teeth in all the puppies. They are starting to lap up a little milk and nibble at some breadcrumbs.
Today the puppies had their first day of three of Panacur dewormer.
